The national pride of Thailand and Laos is the spicy and hot Tom Yum soup, cooked on the basis of chicken broth and thick coconut milk. Large tiger prawns, aromatic lemongrass, lime juice, chili pepper and sweet cherry tomatoes are added to the soup. Served with a portion of Basmati rice.
